Leadership
Timothy Hawryluk is the managing partner of Robertson Stromberg LLP. His practice is focused on litigation, specializing in insurance law, employment law, and the defence of professional negligence actions against lawyers and law firms. His client list includes many of the province’s leading law firms and companies in the areas of manufacturing, food production, and insurance, including a Crown Corporation.
In the area of professional negligence, Hawryluk has defended over 40 actions commenced against Saskatchewan lawyers and/or law firms. He has also acted as counsel for the Law Society of Saskatchewan. Within his employment law practice, Hawryluk’s advice has been sought on a variety of human resources management issues, including large-scale corporate reorganizations, compliance and regulatory issues, dismissals, and related grievance arbitrations. He has also defended several companies that have sustained charges related to serious injuries and fatalities that have occurred on worksites.
Hawryluk was appointed an inquest coroner by the Province of Saskatchewan and has served as both inquest coroner and inquest counsel on several inquests throughout the province. In 2017, he was honoured to receive his King’s Counsel (KC) designation.

A partner at Robertson Stromberg LLP, Tiffany Paulsen practises primarily in the area of family law. She has built an extremely successful practice in the areas of divorce, property division, custody, parenting, child and spousal support, adoption and child protection, surrogacy and assisted reproduction, pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements. In addition to negotiating and litigating family law disputes, Paulsen is also an experienced arbitrator, mediator, parenting coordinator, and collaboratively trained lawyer.
She has been selected by her peers to be included in the Best Lawyers in Canada 2015–2021. Further, in 2019, the Canadian Bar Association (Saskatchewan branch) bestowed upon her the Distinguished Service Award, making Paulsen the youngest lawyer to receive this award and recognizing her contributions to the law in Saskatchewan and Canada. In 2012, she was named one of the 100 Most Distinguished Graduates at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law Centennial Celebrations.

Jennifer Pereira has built a successful practice serving her clients in the areas of insurance including property, CGL, E&O, auto, life, and disability. Her experience includes acting as coverage and defense counsel and her clients include leading national and international insurance companies and claims/risk management departments of national corporations. Pereira can also assist with effectively and efficiently resolving commercial disputes, such as those involving commercial contracts, construction and property claims, investors’ claims and insurance-related issues, particularly those dealing with business losses. She is able to provide effective guidance and, where appropriate, skilled counsel abilities to negotiate, mediate, or litigate the matter.

As partner, Scott Waters brings nearly 20 years of experience to the firm, with a general business practice focusing primarily on corporate and commercial law, banking law, and commercial and residential real estate law. He also regularly advises financial institutions with respect to lending and security issues.

Brittnee J. Holliday is a Regina partner with a practice in insurance defence, professional liability defence, and professional regulation. She focuses on professional liability defence, product liability matters, personal injury defence, and professional discipline. She also provides advice to professional regulatory bodies in various capacities. In addition to numerous administrative bodies, her experience spans all levels of court in Saskatchewan, as well as the King’s Bench Courts in Alberta and Manitoba.
As a member of the executive and the associate relations committees, and the chair of the Indigenous engagement committee, Holliday provides insight into retention and Indigenous engagement in the firm.

Kylie Quinlivan is general counsel and company secretary of hipages Group and a member of the executive team. This is her second role as general counsel of an ASX-listed company. Quinlivan is a top-tier trained corporate lawyer with over 17 years of experience in public and private M&A/transactional work, fundraising, and corporate governance. She is commercially oriented, curious, and with a demonstrated ability to understand complex matters quickly and communicate simply. Quinlivan is excited by hipages’ growth potential, its entrepreneurial spirit and conviction for creating a unique culture. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Laws (Honours) and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney.

Keith Schlosser is global chief information officer at AXIS Capital, where he leads the company’s global information technology and data strategy. He is also responsible for driving change throughout the organisation by delivering high-quality, future-oriented IT services in line with AXIS Capital’s business strategy. Schlosser has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, spanning roles in information technology, business solutions, marketing and sales. Prior to AXIS, he served as chief information officer for Chubb’s Overseas General Insurance division, where he spearheaded a number of growth, innovation, digital and change initiatives. Before that, he served as CIO at The Travelers Companies international division. Schlosser was also a vice president for marketing technology and web communications at AIG.

Dan Draper was appointed group chief underwriting officer in September 2022. He had previously served for more than two years as group head of underwriting at AXIS. Prior to that, he had been group chief risk and actuarial officer at VIBE. Before joining VIBE, Draper spent eight years with AXIS, holding a number of leadership roles that included group chief actuary, chief risk analytics officer, and insurance segment chief risk officer. Before that, he held managerial positions at the Financial Services Authority, XL Capital, and EY.
