Ari Wormeli is a partner, lawyer, and mediator at YLaw, with over 15 years of family law experience. Reported cases include Khan v. Gilbert (2019 BCCA 80), a successful appeal of a trial decision that awarded his client a 15 percent share of family property; Long v. Sun (2019 BCSC 2129), where he defeated an attempt to impute significant income to his client; and T.T. v. S.Z.T. (2020 BCSC 1628), where he secured the return of a child after a unilateral relocation. He has also assisted with revisions to the CLE Family Practice Manual chapter on Recording a Settlement.

Jasmeet Mangat is a managing partner at YLaw (Fraser Valley) and practices exclusively in family law. Growing up in Northern British Columbia as a first-generation Canadian shaped her commitment to helping people navigate some of the most challenging periods of their lives. She is passionate about guiding clients through parenting, support, property division, fertility, and adoption matters with practical advice and strong advocacy.

Abib Ngom has been practicing as a family law lawyer since 2017, with a more recent specialization in Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction Cases. Prior to this, he obtained experience in various areas of law including criminal, civil litigation, and wills and estates. Some of his recent Hague Convention successes include J.N.C. v A.G.H (2024 BCSC 1783).
Ngom completed his LL.B and JD at the Université de Montréal. He is a member of the Law Societies of Alberta and British Columbia. He is also a board member of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, BC Chapter.
