Its practice extends across criminal defence matters, with work often driven by referrals from former clients, other lawyers, and professionals. Those relationships are built on trust and results, with reputation shaped by consistent advocacy and the way clients are treated throughout the process.
For clients, the experience is highly personalized from the outset. Lawyers take the time to understand each situation in detail and develop a strategy that reflects the specific circumstances of the case. The team anticipates issues and ensures clients understand the strategy at each stage, keeping them informed and involved in their defence. Clients have direct access to all lawyers at the firm and receive timely responses, with updates that explain what is happening and what comes next.
“What sets Weisberg Law apart is a combination of focus, expertise, and unwavering client commitment,” managing partner Adam Weisberg says. “As a boutique firm, we are able to dedicate significant time and attention to each case, delivering highly tailored strategies rather than one-size-fits-all solutions.”
Success is measured both by the legal result and the client experience. Equal weight is placed on achieving the best possible outcome and ensuring that clients feel supported, informed, and well represented throughout their case.

That performance reflects the direct involvement of its leadership. Weisberg and partners Samiyyah Ganga and Anthony Bugo combine deep legal expertise with a hands-on, strategic approach to every file. Their involvement in both courtroom advocacy and client service sets the tone across the practice. Weisberg also serves as president of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association, contributes to pro bono work, and has been involved in interventions at the Supreme Court of Canada.
The team works as a collaborative team, with lawyers contributing to strategy and preparation across files. Clients benefit from the insight of the entire group, supporting consistent handling of demanding cases. “When you hire one lawyer, you are effectively hiring the entire Weisberg Law team,” Weisberg says.
In recent years, the focus has been on developing talent as a central strategy. Emphasis remains on strengthening expertise and building a group of highly skilled advocates rather than expanding the workload. This investment in depth reinforces the ability to deliver detailed preparation and strategic thinking across its work.
The result is a boutique criminal defence practice defined by preparation, collaboration, and a commitment to each client. Its approach reflects a consistent focus on strategy, communication, and advocacy in every matter it takes on.
