She has been an elected Bencher of the Law Society of British Columbia (LSBC) since 2020, and is currently the Chair of the LSBC’s Lawyer Development Task Force among other Bencher roles. She was the first visible minority female President of the Vancouver Bar Association. D’Sa has received several awards, including the CBABC Women Lawyers Forum Debra Van Ginkel, QC Mentoring Award, an Excellence Award in the Category of Female Trailblazer of the Year by Canadian Lawyer Magazine’s Canadian Law Awards and Business in Vancouver’s Top Forty Under 40.

Brandon Crawford graduated from Michigan State University College of Law and University of Ottawa Law School, earning two Juris Doctor degrees. He was called to the Bar in 2014. At both trial and on appeal, Crawford excels in cases of complex litigation. He has successfully crafted and presented arguments challenging the constitutionality of laws passed by the government as well as complicated search and seizure issues before all levels of court in Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has successfully defended people on all types of criminal charges, including homicide, sexual assault, impaired driving, domestic assaults, and large drug projects.

Tony Paciocco is a partner at Edelson Foord Law, where his practice focuses on criminal and regulatory litigation. He appears regularly before the OCJ, SCJ, and ONCA. He completed his BA at McGill University. He obtained his JD from Queen’s University in 2014, where he received numerous distinctions, including the Queen’s Law Prize in Advanced Criminal Law and the Dean’s Bronze Scholar Award.
From 2018 to 2022, he taught Criminal Trial Advocacy at Queen’s University, Faculty of Law. In 2023, he was the recipient of the prestigious Dan Soberman Young Alumni Award (for early career success) from his alma matter, Queen’s Law.

Andrew Max is a partner at ALG. His civil litigation practice includes complex commercial disputes, fraud, shareholder disputes, oppression remedies, director and officer liability, arbitration proceedings, injunctions, judicial review, and professional liability. Before joining ALG Andrew practiced at one of Toronto’s top commercial litigation boutiques.
Max has significant courtroom experience and has conducted dozens of trials as a criminal prosecutor. He has expertise in matters involving allegations of fraud, white-collar and corporate crime, and sexual misconduct. Clients, including the general counsel of large institutions, rely on him to handle their most sensitive crises. In 2023, Benchmark Litigation named Max as a Future Star and included him in its “40 & Under List”. He was awarded Prosecutor of the Year by the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators. Max teaches trial advocacy at Osgoode’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop. He was elected to the Ontario Bar Association’s Civil Litigation executive and was a past member of The Advocates’ Society Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Kylie Quinlivan is general counsel and company secretary of hipages Group and a member of the executive team. This is her second role as general counsel of an ASX-listed company.
