Yola Ventresca is managing partner of Lerners LLP’s London, ON office. She has a broad litigation and advisory practice spanning labour and employment, human rights, health law, workplace investigations, regulatory matters, and complex commercial disputes. She advises corporations, universities, health sector organizations, and public institutions on high-stakes legal and governance issues.
A Certified Workplace Investigator and chair of Lerners’ Workplace Investigation Team, Ventresca leads complex investigations in unionized and non-unionized settings. She is known for her strategic judgment, practical approach, and ability to guide clients through sensitive challenges.
Ventresca has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and numerous administrative tribunals. Earlier in her career, she taught civil procedure and litigation strategy at Western University’s Faculty of Law for nearly a decade and currently serves on Western Law’s Dean’s Advisory Council.
A strong advocate for women in law, she founded and co-chairs the Lerners Women’s Symposium and helped establish the Lerners Women in Law Lecture Series at Western Law. She has been recognized for her efforts with the Law Society of Ontario’s Laura Legge Award.
