Leadership
John Espley is the Chief Executive Officer of the LEAP Group.
Prior to his current role, John's responsibility was CEO of LEAP UK where he drove new business growth, region-specific product development, and improved customer service to the UK. John was also responsible for completing several key strategic acquisitions and successfully expanding LEAP into Ireland.
Having worked for LEAP for more than a decade, John has performed many senior roles within the business with responsibilities including partnership development, business operations, and prior to becoming CEO, new business sales. As Director of Sales, John drove significant user adoption to LEAP and introduced many law firms to the benefits of the Cloud.
After working over 20 years in legal technology, John has built a wealth of experience developing relationships with both new firms and existing clients alike. John is impassioned by legal technology as well the core values of LEAP, and sees it as his mission to support the ongoing digital transformation of law firms.

Malcolm Muthulingum is the Chief Executive Officer of LEAP Legal Software in Canada. Malcolm started at LEAP USA in 2016 as a Data Migration Specialist where he built and managed the Data Migration Team. He then quickly progressed to Director of Transitions and Director of Client Relations, in conjunction with serving on the LEAP USA Executive board.
Before joining LEAP, Malcolm spent three years in Legal Tech playing an instrumental role in establishing a new legal software product in the Canadian Market.
With a passion for building innovative businesses that support clients with best-in-class software solutions, Malcolm is excited to share how LEAP can help transform law firms in Canada and become more profitable.

Gareth Walker is the Chief Executive Officer of LEAP Legal Software in the United Kingdom. Gareth is passionate about ensuring that law firms get the most out of technology to enable them to focus on their passion: practicing law.
Prior to being appointed CEO, Gareth was Chief Operating Officer of LEAP UK. He has worked in legal software for over 15 years and has been with LEAP since they opened their Twickenham office in 2013. He has seen the business grow from the inside and has experienced first-hand the market changes over the years.
Having overseen implementation, customer service, systems and training at LEAP, Gareth understands what it takes to deliver both industry leading software and service. With significant experience in legal technology, Gareth continues his mission to support the ongoing digital transformation of law firms.

Christine Nassif is the Head of Operations at LEAP Canada. She ensures that LEAP clients receive top-of-the-line service and a seamless experience from implementation through to ongoing success. Christine focuses on fostering collaboration across teams to provide the right support, resources, and relationships that help firms thrive with LEAP.
Prior to joining LEAP, Christine worked as a licensed Paralegal and Legal Assistant, gaining hands-on experience across multiple practice areas. This background gave her a deep understanding of the legal industry and the importance of having a software that truly meets each firm’s unique needs.

Before joining LEAP, Janet worked in big law before transitioning to legal technology, where she served as Head of Education with a focus on practice management solutions. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about helping legal professionals improve their businesses through technology and process improvement. Known for her positive energy and collaborative approach, Janet builds lasting relationships and helps clients and colleagues navigate challenges to achieve meaningful results.

Scott Oliver has been part of the legal technology industry for nearly a decade, beginning his career during a co-op term in his third year at Wilfrid Laurier University, where he studied Business with a focus in Finance. Since then, he has built a career that blends his financial expertise with his passion for technology.
As one of the first employees at LEAP Canada, Scott has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and success, leading several key departments over his five-year tenure—including Consulting, Product, and Client Success. In his current role as Real Estate Integrations Director, he leads initiatives that help firms across Canada work smarter, faster, and more effectively through innovative legal technology.
